Welcome to the second edition of View of the Hilltop.

So, what are we doing here? Simple. While I'm still very much involved with the Bluejay Cafe, we're reorienting the site a bit. FreddyMac has some really exciting things in the works for the site in terms of content and offerings and we are still committed to providing the best forum for discussion of Creighton basketball and athletics on the web.

That said, things don't always work out the way we expect, and it doesn't look like we will be able to provide the sort of structured pre and post game coverage that we have in the past. I'm very much disappointed that I can't do everything that I have in the past, and what I would like to do, but we have to deal with the realities of what life deals us.

All that said, I still have a lot to say about the Jays and I'd like to still use this forum to do that. So, considering the more free form nature of the contributions I will be providing, both Freddy and I felt the best way to do that would be to relaunch my blog and link to that content through the Cafe. I will still write about the games and the rest of the news and note surrounding Bluejay basketball (and baseball, when the time comes around), although this is going to be a more laid back format than I've used in the past.

I appreciate all the kinds words I've received from the fans and our Cafe brethren, and I hope you will still find my work useful and enjoyable.
